Liars, Will not return phone calls, refuse to return money, ripoff

My wife and I purchased a HYLA Vacuum cleaner on 30 Mar 06. We signed an agreement stating we had three business days to cancel the transaction without any penalty.

On 3 Apr 06 at 7:00 PM we returned the home maintenance system to Pure Solutions along with a signed request stated we want to cancel the transaction and was requesting a refund. We also spoke with DJ, Pure Solutions general manager, of our decision to cancel the transaction.

At this time DJ told my wife and I that we would have a refund check issued to us within two days. We called again on 14 Apr and spoke with DJ, we informed him we still had not received our refund check... He assured us the check was put in the mail 14 Apr and I would have it within two days max.

We called six times on 17 Apr and spoke with the secretary requesting a return phonecall. On our last attempt on 17 Apr we spoke with Larry, another sales rep, he had no knowledge of us, our request for a refund or us ever calling earlier in the day but, promised he would contact DJand have him return our call.

We called again 18 Apr and spoke with the secretary several times who became indignant with us for bothering her. We called again later in the evening and spoke again with Larry. He told us he spoke with DJ regarding my refund check. DJ supposedly had spoke with Sybill (the owner) and would call us later in the evening. Larry was very non committal in regards as to whether or not we would receive a check. DJ never returned our call.

On 20 Apr we called and talked to DJ, again. He told us the check was mailed that day at noon. As of today, 22 Apr, we have no check. Called and talked to Bubba (assistant sales manager) he stated he knew nothing of a check and stated DJ would be out for then weekend. We have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau.
