Inferior Workmanship, Poor Customer Service ripoff

In 1995 we had an inground pool installed by Blue Haven. It was installed in Kaufman, Texas. Within months after installation, cracks begin appearing. Each year when we reported it to Blue Haven Pools we expected them to fix it because they guaranted the pool to be structurally sound for as long as we own the property. They have never fixed the pool and each year we continue to call them only to get no response or help from them.

Some time ago, the pool lifted out of the ground, one end is about 4 inches higher than the other, causing the pool not to filter. The pool leaks and has to have water put in it several times each week. We have had much trouble with this company down through the years and we finally decided this year to file a lawsuit against them, which we did. All I am asking them to do is fix the pool, level it, repair cracks and put it back like it should have been from the beginning and pay our attorney fees. So far they have refused.

My husband and I are both in our 60's and expected this to be a life time investment for our home. We didn't realize that the 1st year would bring problems which multiplied as time went by. We paid $25,000 for this pool and have had so many problem, too numerous to mention.

We just figured we had had enough of being ripped off for this much money and that is why we decided to file the lawsuit. I understand from the local records in our small community that there are 3 people here alone who are suing Blue Haven Pools.

Please don't use them to install your pool. You will be sorely disppointed with their workmanship as well as their customer service.
