Home builder rip off house was supposed to be finished by december only half of foundation was done

We hired americas home place to build a house on our lot and demolish our old house that was damaged by huricanes in florida.

We signed a contract back in february and was promised a house in 6 to 8 months from that date it was november and not even the foundation was done. Call after call i made to this company and never was i told that my house would not have been finished on time. Know ythe house that we rented for short term until our house was finished was bought over by the city and we have to move again my kids and my family had no were to go until last week when we found a house we could afford since rent has gone up so high in our area. We had contacted americas home place and told them we would allow them to continue to build our home once they pay for our rent since they have taken so long to build they denied our request and know we have no house and living beyond our means because of the rent being twice our old mortgage this people are liars and conartist and i know there are more people out ther that have had this problem with this builders
