NO RESULTS FOR over $8,000.00 Ripoff

Having a wonderful I idea, I decided to stop procrastinating and answer and attractive TV advertisement of Invent-Tech. I was first put in touch with a gentleman that was very easy going. He began telling that the idea was discussed during a staff meeting and that everyone loved it. Once I showed interest that I would like to persue it, it went downhill. I was immediately put in touch with another representative that was very aggressive. Many calls trying to get me to send in over $8,000.00 to get the process started. I told him that I did not have it. I was laid off from my job (1/04) and money was very tight. He asked if I could borrow the money. After much back and forth, I borrowed 1/2 ($4,000.00) from my father, which I am still paying back. A survey was sent asking how the process went and were all questions answered in a satifactory manner. I let them have it. My answers were true and to the point. Well, I get a call immediately from the representative that I had been dealing with. We argued on some keep points that I was not satified with (returning calls, contract wording, patent procedure, marketing tatics, results, etc). He told me that Invent-tech would not go forward with the idea unless I changed or soften my responses. Needless to say, I did. I have all the paperwork of the orginal answers given and a log of some calls taken. Over a years has passed and I have not had one positive interest in the idea.

I began doing homework on my own and found out that Invent-tech is not what it's cracked up to be. Some other agents have had to clean up the mess from other clients.

What can I do to get my money back and/or sue for punitive damages?
