Faulty Construction of new home, notated and signed agreement made to repair roof and other major problems at time of closing, failure of contractor to repair roof after 2 1/2 years, despite intervention of Dept. Of State (don't waste your time with them, either) Finally resulting in Lawsuit filed to recoup losses due to homeowner having roof repaired himself. Case filed in Volusia County Court, Div. 82-33981-coci. Public Record.
Contractor verbally made many promises and made written promises to homeowner and the Dept. Of State, State of Florida, however, promise were not kept, agreements were overlooked. After leaks caused over $14,000.00 in damage, homeowner took it upon himself to have roof repaired, then failing to get any co-operation from builder, filed lawsuit.
