This home builder - KHov (formerly Westminster Homes) -does not honor its warranty. This KHov community (Bethelfields / York County SC) has an inept construction crew that built a $200,000 house with faulty framing. After being in the house for a few months, a second floor hallway began slopping 1/2" and a second floor bathroom developed a 1/2" hump in the subfloor. After being promised that the floors would be corrected, the warranty department is now refusing - saying it's not that bad. I hired a home inspector to verify the floor problems (among other things) and the warranty department still will not do the repairs even though they offer a written one year warranty at closing. They also left us go all winter without a working fireplace, refusing to replace it. After months of persistance, they finally replaced it - the following summer. Now I am battling to get my second floor repaired. I do not recommend this builder. Go elsewhere!
