Ripoff Deceptive Advertising

On May 17 my granparents had scheduled to have thier carpets cleaned by this company. When the rep came out, he looked over the area and found that the footage was more than 400 feet (which was allowed for in the ad). He tried to charge an additional $25 for that service. Which was fine. However then the rep decided to charge an additional $50.00 just for moving furniture. We found that rather odd considering most of the furniture that was to be moved was already moved by me yesterday (all but 2 dinner table chairs). The couchs were not to be moved as that is not what she wanted. The rep indicated that reguardless of moving the furniture or not there was still a charge for it.

I proceeded to call the company at which time I spoke with "Jeff" his title according to him was "employee." well he didn't want to talk to me and told me he was going to talk to his tech and not play the third party game. Game? No, ripoff? Yes! I reminded me of a deer caught in the headlights. I told Jeff that I would like a simple answer in how if no furniture was to be moved was there a charge. He again attempted to back peddle and talk about the square footage. I told hom that is not what I was talking about that I wanted to specifically address the "moving furniture" charge. He became very defensive and then told me that he was not going to talk to me about it. I checked the BBB and oddly enough the owner has the same name. Wow is this how the company deals with complaints? By lying about thier job title? Owner v. Employee, folks, there is a BIG difference.

The moral of the story... Don't use this company it produces hidden charges that were not delt with in the setting up of an appointment. Second, no customer resolution skills. Obvious by lack of answering questions. Third, there are companies in this area that offer the same service without the extra charges... Go for them. This company is awful and deceptive!!! Trust me!
