Ripoff Has Failed To Deliver The Wood Flooring 5 months & counting

We ordered, and prepaid for maple flooring on 10/15/04, and were verbally told at that time that it would be 2-4 weeks for delivery.

One month later we are informed that the flooring is coming from overseas, and will be shipped over the holidays, and arrive at my residence mid January. Two to four weeks has just become 3 months. I also want to know why maple flooring is coming from overseas. If I wanted an exotic species, I would have purchased one.

Mid January, when the shipment doesn't arrive, we are informed that the flooring is on the ship, but they cannot or will not tell us what ship, and when it is expected to dock in the US.

The latest is that the order will be arriving in the US the second week in February. More than four months from the order date.

I am in the contruction management business, and have managed the construction of hundres million dollar projects.

Nothing takes more than four months to fabricate and deliver.

We should have ordered from Lumber Liquidators, and paid the additional $850 that it would have cost.
