Carpet Spectrum quoted approximatly $ 15.00 per square foot to install Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring in my condominium when I was visiting their store.
When they came to my condominium they mis-measured and misquoted the job. They did not write the price per square foot on the contract. I trusted their figures to be correct.

A few weeks later, after I signed the contract I measured my residence myself and discovered that they had charged me $ 29.50 per square foot. They refused to renegotiate the price stating that it was a fixed price for the job. The going rate around town is around $ 15.00 per square foot for Brazilian Cherry installed.
