Urban Renewal Development ripoff contract violated in kitchen remodel, shoddy workmanship

Work began March 1, "Work to finish two weeks after kitchen cabinets are received". Cabinets were delivered April 16. Work is still incomplete despite repeated promises by the contractor. This is now the ninth month since work began.

Shoddy work where floor tiles lift up at edges. Black mold where icemaker leaked for five weeks and water ran under cabinets and floor tiles. Three cabinet doors warped.

Cooktop island cabinet skewed. Counter top sections not joined straight. Rubble left in attic where old chimney was removed. AC drain pipe in attic broken, kitchen and dining room ceilings damaged. Attic insulation removed and not replaced.

Den carpet was to be removed and replaced with same tile as in kitchen. This is not done.

Contacts by BBB and local TV station received no response from contractor and files were closed.
