Key local calls do not connect - magic jack phone service

I can call some local numbers but every time I call my wife's work I can not get through (busy signal). When she tried to call me from the hospital she got a busy signal even though I was not online at the time and ditto when her work tries to call her. These problems have recently surfaced after the last automatic update to the magic jack software.
