Major problem not acknowledged by Gateway for this laptop. Metal clips attached to the motherboard come off and float inside the case, shorting out components. Open and you may find 4-6 loose inside. From web, many people and repair facilities note this problem. No one has been able to get Gateway or whoever owns it now, to take responsibility for this problem.
