Dell techs broke my laptop - Inspiron 1420

So i sent in my laptop to dell to have the motherboard replaced, which they did, now before i sent it to them the laptop worked fine (the nvidia chipset was damaged and couldnt play games, but switching to the intel i was able to atleast browse around) i get it back and now the damn thing wont boot up at all! They claim its my harddrive, but i swapped to a new harddrive that we have here that has windows installed on it and its the same problem, so its not the harddrive!
