Ripped Me Off! - Customer Service and Billing

We purchased a magicjack on july 18. We hooked it up and activated it on July 19 around 9:00 in the morning.By noon it stopped working. We tried to return it to the store we purchased it from, but they said they couldn't refund it because it had been activated. They said we needed to contact the manufacturer for refund or replacement.

We contacted the manufacturer on internet chat (we couldn't find a telephone number to call). The chat person, Steph, referred us to a user agreement which is not included in the package (she had to put a link on the screen for us to read it) and said that per the agreement which was not in the package, Magicjack will not fix the problem or refund our money.

They want to keep our $40 and not give us a working service. We only got a few hours of calls to friends. This is a rip-off in my opinion.
