A total piece of junk - Magic Jack

I bought the hype about Magic Jack.in my opinion, that's all this piece of garbage is - hype. It never worked reliably. Sometimes there was simply no dial tone, or there was a dial tone that died when I dialed a number. Then there were the times I dialed an 800 number and got the message that the number didn't work with my "service provider". Calls dropped, the device crackled persistently, the party on the other end asked if I was scuba diving or other times inside a tin can. I am so frustrated I can't decide which will give the greatest satisfaction; smashing the Magic Jack with a hammer, driving over it with a bulldozer, or blowing it up with 1/2 stick of dynamite. I guess they'd all give some pleasure. Save your money, just slam your head in the door a few times and you'll feel better off than experiencing the Magic Jack!
