Fob or No Fo

I live in a condominium building... Housing 68 units. My sister moved into our condo, to help take care of my illmother. I asked the Board members for an extra Fob (securitykey). I was told no others were to given out; That the Boarddidn't want condo owners to give them out to their children. (We have alot of Seniors that live in the building) Can thisstatement even be possible??? The Board didn't want condoowners to give Fob's to their kids??? I then asked the Board member to give me the number to thecompany who installed these Fobs. The Board member saidthat, another Board member (who was friends with one of theowners of this company) had the phone number. I wasn't leaving until I got the number. Well, this 1st Board membersuddenly found the number. I called, left voicemail. I called again and the secretary answered. She put me on hold, and came back after 5 mins. The secretary took all of my infor-mation;name, address, phone number, name of building. The secretary called me back in 30 mins. She had an ok to meand others in the building to recieve as many Fob's as we'dlike. A man's voice was next to her, giving the secretary moreinformation to tell me. I asked her who it was; she said it was theowner. After the call was complete, the secretary called me back, after30 more mins. She told me to contact any Board member to orderas many sheets of Fob's as we'd like. The second Board member was contacted by the first Board member by my calling. He quickly called the security companyand proceeded to intercept my calling. I went up to the condo unit number of the friend of the securitycompany and heard him talking to the company. I waited outside his door. He came out and said I, nor anyone else can receive anotherFob, unless this company updates the buildings' system, at acost of $5,000.00. I accused this Board member of pulling a sham on the condoowners and threatened to call the Better Business Bureau. I received a new Fob the next day.
