Faulty pgm disc

I cannot get rid of the pop up message when I boot up that tells me there is no place to send a scan - there is!
Error 8, [6,0, -2147467262)] HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m

I have rebooted and run the program again and again but that error will not be removed.

I have seen many comments about the same complaint when I type in the error number on Google. I think my pgm disc that came with the printer has a glitch. Please send me a new disc or the email address of someone at HP who can.
