Terrible Service - laptop

I have been using HP products for more than 10 years in two different countries. So I bought a brand new Notebook PC at Circuit City in early January. About 3 weeks later, the laptop would not boot up. I called HP and after going through 2 days of self-tests and customer service people with funny accent, I was told that the will send me recovery CDs thst I would receive in 2 days.
I did get the CDs, run them on the computer, but nothing. After going through another round of custumer service people, I was sent a box via Fedex to take back the unit to HP for 10 days to repair. One day before I was supposed to have it back (February 23), they called and "inform" me that there will be a delay and the new date will be March 9.
I tried to talk to the person on the line, asked for a supervisor, was cut off several times, called back. Finally some guy told me that there was no need for me to talk to anybody else, that they will note exchange the computer anyway, that I just had to wait and rudely hung up on me.
Bottom line: nine weeks after buying a brand new HP Notebook, I only had it for about 3 weeks, and I am not even sure of when I will see it again.
That is not the company that it used to be!
