iPhone Drops Twenty Calls a Day and Puts Calls on Hold

I have been having problems with my iphone for months - dropped calls - at least 20 a day, as well as it puts calls on hold or mute all the time. I have gone to apple, had it reset, still same problems. I love the look and functionality of the phone and just want it to work. Any suggestions!!
