I brought a Sony VGN 320 in April and it has developed a spider crack on the LCD screen. The Sony reps want 700 to fix a 840 dollar machine! The computer was used for light casual work and ALWAYS treated well. The rep said something may have been placed on top of the case there by causing the damage. The computer is only used by a middle aged male and when it is not in use is ALWAYS placed in a padded computer bag. The Sony reps said its accidental damage so not covered on the one warranty. First and last SONY they dont stick behind their product line.
I would suggest looking at other computer companies! Typing on a GATEWAY!!
