Stealing $ from children

I enrolled my children in this karate outreach program in Feb. The instructor collected $230 for safety gear. After months of following up and being told that the gear was on the way I found out that the instructor had been fired for stealing our $.

I have since been in contact with Owner and Founder of the company and am unable to get a refund. I can’t get a straight answer from anyone regarding the status of my refund. The owner is now stating that he is not responsible for getting the refund check (even though 2 weeks ago he said he send it out right away).

I am not the only one fighting with this company for hundreds of dollars; everyone that signed up with this instructor is dealing with the same problem. My advice to anyone that wants to sign their kids up in this program is to go somewhere else. Though it seems like a good deal at first, they are not consumer friendly. It seems as though no one is accountable for the instructor’s theft.
