Ripoff did not finance me paid off trade bought elewhere will not give me money or car back

I bought a new truck at Tom Benson Chvrolet in April. Tom Benson paid my trade off. The company got financing for me, and then got kicked back because they misplaced my downpayment. I gave them a new downpayment in Jun and they did not get financing for me. I bought another car in Sept 04 and had no problem getting financing. Tom Benson Chevrolet still had not gotten me financed and had not even cashed my downpayment check. I called over a several week period and the finance person kept telling me "we'll get you financed don't worry."

When I bought my other car and told them I was doing so, the general manager said that he would call the states attorney and file criminal charges on me if I cancelled the check and said that he would report the car as a repo on my credit even though I did not have financing. Well I did cancel the check, returned the vehicle that I had no financing on, and now since Tom Benson Chevrolet paid off my trade and they did not put me in a vehicle they owe me my trade or the money they paid on my trade back.

The finance person at the dealership said the company attorney would contact me and she could not talk to me anymore. It has been 2 months now and I still have not heard anything.
