I bought a car from a Buy here Pay here that went out of business. Not hearing from anyone within 180 days I chalked it up and went about my business. 3 years I'm called into the Human Resource office at work to tell me that I'm being garnished and that they were to start taking out of that pay period. As I examined the Affidavit, Order and Notice of Garnishment and Answer of Garnishee I noticed they had the wrong address. When questioned about this, I was told that the legal firm handling the case just go by what address Guardian give them!

All this time I could have avoided this mess if they had only took the time to l the right info. Not only that they can get more money if they have the wrong info because they get intrest, court cost, and filing fees. All I had left to pay was $390.00 but now I'm paying $2200.00. They had successfully sued me and I nothing!!!
