"transmission leaked more fluid after overhaul than it did before"

My family went to Elite after reading thier google reviews. They were all good. We took our 08 CX-9 for an transmission overhaul. We got it back and it was leaking a large amount of fluid in our garage floor the same day. We took the car back to Elite. They had it a week. We brought it home again only to find it was not only leaking fluid (verfied by another master mechanic), but it was jerking.

We went to take the car back a third time in two weeks when it began jerking and almost quit. We were an hour and a half from the shop and we pulled into the Kia Dealership to look at cars, knowing that we had chosen someone to work on our car and at this point it appeared they didn't have a clue what they were doing.

We traded in the car for a loss. It wouldn't have made it back to the shop without a tow anyway and we couldn't afford to be without a car for another week. We emailed Elite which they did not respond to. After mailing Elite a letter asking for them to help us by refunding part of the money for the labor only (understanding they had money tied up in parts), they sent us a letter back stating we had signed the agreement and we hadn't met the obligations of the warranty and it was void.

The item they are referring to is on ALL services, you have to bring it back in two weeks to make sure it is not leaking.inconvenient at best and more evidence of the crappy work this shop performs. Also, it stated there are no refunds. I understand policy and I also understand being ripped off which we felt like we were.

My advice, stay as far away as possible from this shop and warn your friends! Unless you want to be out a car and $2600 bucks like me.
