Ken overfield rebate rip off for over 5 months

Bought 4 cooper tires on 5-19-12 and clerk who sold tires stated he would file all rebate forms. Waited 6 wks and went back to check on $50 rebate. Lady clerk said to wait another 2 wks for rebate. Waited another month and went back. Mgr said the original clerk should not have told me he would handle rebate forms, so Mgr gave me all rebate forms which I filled out and sent in to rebate company.

Two wks later, the rebate company sent a ltr saying I was too late with rebate forms. Went back to merchants tire and Mr overfield said he would get it all straight. Here it is 5 months later and no rebate of $50 and lots of promises and over 250 miles going back and forth to this tire company. Rip off, scam and no results. Should be a law against this kind of treatment to customers. Every chance I get I will inform or tell anyone that merchants tire is terrible with customer service and NEVER reccomend anything, whether it be tires, service or rebates.
