Premier bank trying to collect a debt that is from fifteen years ago, and refuses to send us legit paper work on what we owe

I had purchased a vehicle from a car dealership and was placed with premier finance company for my payments. The transmission went out and i was forced to have it repoed. This was in 1997 and this company is harrassing my mother that she owes 400.00. And refuses to give us any documentation on what we owe.
