Citgo aka Adelphi Citgo aka University Citgo ripped me off and lied about work performed. Rip-off!

I used Adelphi Citgo (aka Citgo, aka University Citgo) to work on my 94 Honda Civic in 1999. They originally claimed that I had a blown head gasket. The manager Jeff called me and said they replaced the necessary parts to make sure it would be corrected. At that time, he also told me that I needed to replace the transmission. I told him that was ridiculous and I didn't have a problem with the transmission so I told him not to touch it. He said he would re-examine the transmission and give me a call back. He called me back that day and miraculously the transmission was fine.

I picked up my car and paid nearly $900 for the repairs. Two weeks later I was driving to NC and my car broke down again. Same thing, blown head gasket. I called Jeff immediately because the work was supposedly under warranty. Unfortunately I ended up paying another $400 for BS that they said had to be done in order for the gasket not to blow again. Not only did I have to pay money for work that was supposedly under warranty, but they kept my car for 3 weeks.

When I finally got the car back, it had dunkin donuts trash in it. I never went to dunkin donuts so someone was obviously driving my car for their personal use. My car also had footprints with dents all the way up the hood, on the windshield, and to the roof. When I asked them about it they told me they are not responsible for the condition of the car while it's in their care. Rip-off!!!
