Ford rips off owners in torque convertor recall Freestar/Montery

Early 2009 my Freestar with 99000 well serviced miles lost torque convertor while driving. Towed the van to Cherokee Ford and was told that it was torque convertor failure. $3200.00 later including rental car I pick up my van. 45000 miles later the torque convertor failed again. Cherokee had sold me a defective torque convertor. This time they repair the van on Fords dime at a cost of $1100 including rental car. Question is why is my bill for the first repair 3 times what it cost the second time. And why has Ford Cherokee and Ford USA refused to reimburse me while paying thousands of others for reimbursement of this recall defect. A maximum of $1450... No matter what you were charged. No wonder Ford refused bailout money... It is easier to take from customers pockets...
