Our children gave us a Living Social "Wellness and Whimsy in La Romana" trip as a retirement gift. After 30 years in the US Air Force we took this trip to the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic. Living Social advertised a "luxurious, tropical-themed guest room with views of either the ocean or the garden and five days of the Viva Eco Wellness Program." We did not get anything described above. The only thing tropical in the room was wooden furniture. The view was of the tennis court. The resort personnel did not tell us how to contact the resort's Living Social people and the Living Social people never contacted us. Additionally, the infrastructure is old, the food cold and the staff spoke very little English. I will never purchase anything from Living Social and will never stay at a Wyndham property!
