This morning was not my first horrible run in with All-State. The last time I called, my keys were locked in my car along with my membership ID, and it took 30 MINUTES JUST FOR THEM TO PULL UP MY INFORMATION. This morning, I woke up at 6:45 A.M., my car wouldn't start. Called them by 6:55 A.M., once again, I was on the phone for 20 minutes before the representative could pull up my account. After the rep put in my request for service, I asked to speak to a supervisor, who was NO HELP at all. She couldn't give me answers as to why it took so long for my info to be pulled up, BUT she DID try to tell me that it was only 16 minutes, that I had been holding, that she had a timer. Haha. Well I had a timer on my phone too, so I took a screen shot of it, which I plan on sending in to all-state. How is 16 minutes any better than 20? No one calling in for road side assistance should be dealing with that at all! What is wrong with them? I had to be at work by 830, I asked her if she could expedite the service, she said No. OK, understandable, I'm not any more important than anyone else is. I was told the service providers would be there well before 8 A.M. I called all state again at 7:55, once again, 15 minutes on hold off and on, and was told this time that they would be here within 5 minutes. Ten minutes later, they still were not there, no phone call. At this point, I knew there was no hope and I had to call a cab, otherwise I had to risk being late, and risk being fired. I call a cab, wait, call All-State again. Ask to speak to a supervisor, who tells me that the service provider did in fact say that they were not on time. The service provider never called, never showed up, and the "supervisors" I spoke to at all-state were of NO HELP, and downright rude. I get into a cab, hysterically crying, and now I had to pay for a cab. I have a $42.00 cab ride from Lindenhurst to East Meadow that I need reimbursed to me immediately. I also am requesting to speak to someone higher up then a supervisor ASAP, and I will keep calling until I get someone on the phone. I dont understand how I can be treated like this when not only do I have auto insurance through you, but PAY for road-side assistance through AllState as well. I need answers now!
