Sells lemons and uses very deceptive tactics

My wife and I bought this car (1991 Toyota Camry) and it started giving us problems right away. I do not dispute the car was sold as-is. We feel we were pushed and bullied into buying the camry. We were interested in buying other cars but the sales person pushed and pushed to get us into the camry. He said that with the mileage it was a great deal.

HE also said their mechanic had checked it out and said it was fine. We started having problems with the car cutting off when the a/c was turned on. We notified the manager Leanard and he said if we got it fixed they would take the cost of the price of the car. We continued making payments until the car started having transmission problems. WE again notified the dealership salesperson Rick. He said we would have to speak to Leanard even though he was on vacation. The car finally quit 1 week later on a Sunday.

We took it to 2 repair shops which both told us the car needed a new transmission and would cost over $1000 to repair. While the car was at the 2nd shop (AAL Transmission World on East 192 in Kissimmee) Leanard continued to act like they would help us. He said he would talk to the owner and we would probably be put into another car. He tricked us into releasing the car back to them to "have their mechanic look at it." I told where the car was and they towed it back to the dealership.

At this time we were approx 1 week behind on pmts because of these issues. Since they appeared to be working with us I did not worry about it. I called the manager afterward and was told to get the car back we would have to repair the car and catch up the payments and they would not help in anyway. My wife and I feel very mis-led and tricked by the shady dealership.
