Trylon Transit Inc v. Badisse David Mehmet (Civil Kings, Index No. 0078549/10)

On or about February 26, which was the day of a heavy snow storm, a Taxi driver named Liya Kahasay of Trylon Transit Inc and who resides at 155 Union Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977 was stopped on the south east side of 6th Avenue and 18th Street in New York City picking up or dropping off a passenger. I was driving my white astro mini van and as I passed her, I looked in my passenger side mirror and I still saw her stopped at the side of the street. I then signaled and made a right turn on the street believed to be 18th Street. As I was completing my turn, I looked through the passenger side window and I saw the Taxi Ms. Kahasay was driving sliding towards me sideways on the snow. She hit the side of my door so light that it created just a small YELLOW scratch. I got out and after seeing the small scratch, I thought nothing of it and I left.

Afterwards, I received a Summons and Complaint from Trylon Transit Inc, which sued me for hitting the Taxi cab on the driver's side. This was clear fraud. The interesting thing is that the $1,350.95 in repairs that they claimed was performed by East/West Management (Fender, Body and Chassis Repairs collision work) WAS the same address as the Taxi company: 415 West 127th Street, NY, NY 10027.

I am a NO-NONSENSE guy. So, I contacted my insurance company GEICO and told them that I don't want them to represent me or to cover me on the insurance because GEICO has the tendency to just settle even fraudulent claims to cut attorney costs. I then counter-sued Trylon Transit, Inc. For fraud. I intend to go after these fraudsters relentlessly in the court action. The evidence is already showing contradictions in their statements. Meaning, the evidence is NOT supporting their allegations in the Complaint. I also requested punitive damages against them for the fraud.

I suspect that this is NOT the first time these people have made such false claims. They think this case will never go to trial. They are going to be surprised. I am going to depose all the witnesses. I will even depose the police officer called to the scene after I left. I am going to take this case to trial (What a web we weave when we first start to decease).
