They want the consumer to lie to their auto insurance company, then they lie to the clients!

Advanced Auto Glass called me about replacing our windshield, at the time, It just so happened That I did need it replaced. So I spoke with Steve Crosby, Steve said, and I quote when your insurance company get's on the line just tell them that the break in the windshield is 6" long, even if it's not, mine happened to be, however I know for fact many are not any were near the 6". For the insurance company to pay for the claim it must be 6" or better, in Florida anyway. After I gave Advanced Auto Glass all the pertinent information, Steve said, you'll be receiving a $ 50 Visa card in the mail. Well that was 2.5 months ago. So I called them up, the person that answered my call wasn't Steve. When I asked why I hadn't received my $ 50 dollar Visa card, he said, we have a big problem with the Visa cards!!! I said that's not my problem, then send me a check and I'll buy the $ 50 Visa card. That's fair, so the man took my phone # and said we'll get right back to you! That was 2 weeks ago. It's the principle, I wounder how many other people had the same experience receiving, or should I say, not receiving the $ 50 Visa card??? Advanced Auto Class offered this to me, not the other way around. I would like to hear from others that had trouble with Advanced Auto Glass!!! P.S. They do treat there employees very bad, the person that did replaced my windshield was scared to shit, because they give them 15 mins. Per job. The poor guy looked like he was going to have a nervous break down
