Ripoff dishonest faulty incompetent "shoved me out the door" "seized engine"

I brought my 1983 BMW motorcycle to Mid America Powersports for an oil and filter change on July 10. I should have known better than to trust my motorcycle with these idiots.

They gave the job to the LEAST experience mechanic who didn't know what he was doing. After my motorcycle was rolled out and I had paid for the oil change, the oil pressure light came on. I came back inside to the service counter and told them that the oil light was on.

Everyone in the service department told me the oil light was on before I brought my bike in for the oil change. NO I'T WASN'T! They told me that I had a bad sending unit for the oil light and I could fix it later. YEAH RIGHT! They were giving me the runaround, big time.

I rode the motorcycle about 20 miles and the engine seized up. I had it towed back to Mid America Powersports and got more of the runaround. "The oil light was on before you brought the bike in."

After the fact, they told me that no qualified BMW technicians were present since it was a Saturday. On Monday, I got an outrageous quote of $6000 to replace the entire engine. I'm going to demand to see credentials before I let ANYONE at a motorcycle shop touch my bike in the future.
