My partner and I went to J.D. Byrider to get a vehicle because we couldn't get financing anywhere else. We got financing but couldn't come up with the down payment needed for the insurance to be able to take the car home. On the 3rd day after much talking over. We decided we couldn't afford to buy the car and called the dealership and told them we wanted to cancel the purchase since we had not taken possession of the vehicle. They informed us that we could NOT cancel and we would be held to the $12,000 contract. The person we talked to on the phone kept asking us when we were coming in to pick up the car. We kept telling him we couldn't and wanted to cancel. Is this how J.D. Byrider makes their money? So much for HELPING people. We are on fixed incomes and after going over everything we owed. We would only have $25.00 a month left. How can we get them to cancel?
