Stefan International Car Service
$200 to replace the broken part with the same part!

Cars & Transport

I brought my 2006 BMW Z4 in to fix the cowl underneath the drivers side of the car. He charged me $200 and then found that a sensor was missing - another $250, thank you.

I said, "no" to the sensor and smelling a rat went to Carmax. They put it on the lift and showed me the broken piece was still attached and the sensor "missing".

It will now cost $600 to have it repaired correctly. Lesson learned.
