Overcharging for supposed damage to vehicle

I rented a carfrom them on November as my car had been totalled earlier that week. I had requested a small car since I was concerned on getting good gas mileage since I only needed the car for less than 36 hours as I was driving out of state to buy another car. The car is white which makes it harder to see any dents and since I was excited to be getting this certain type of car (I dont want to mention exactly what is was) I didnt go inspecting the car to the very last detail and neither did the employee.

I also want to mention that s/he had the sniffles the whole time I was there and seemed to have had the flu, so s/he did not take the time either to properly check the car before I signed the report. I did not chose to pay for the insurance they were offering since I had rented cars plenty of times before and I have never had any damage done to them or problems upon returning them.
