Owner mislead me and my wife by taking 500.00 dollars

My wife and me went to buy a Dodge Caravan we told the owner/salesman Mike Sheehan about are situition that we dont have much money and we need something cheap but reliable because we have a ten year old that has brain cancer. We needed a car to get back and forth to the hospital and also work. Mike told us before he can start the financing that we had to put 500.00 down so we told him that I get paid the next day on 03/08. So on 03/08 we came back and gave him 500.00 dollars Mike had us sign some papers he told us to sign at the x and it was for the financing are mistake was we did not read the paper we signed. Anyway the next day my wife happened to find the same car with 30,000 miles less for about 2,000 dollars cheaper. Also all they needed was a hundred dollars down and we could get are money back if we decided not to take the car.

So we went back to Mike the next day and told him we are not going to get that car because we really need the money to pay are rent and to put food in are house it was just to much money. He told us he was not giving the 500.00 back It got to the point where this professional salesman wanted to fight me like I was stealing from him. He really scamed us because he was saying that the money was a deposit to hold the car. We would have never put the money down we did not know how much the payments were we had to give him the 500.00 dollars from what he said to get the ball rolling. So now we are out 500.00 we live paycheck to paycheck have no food in house and no car thanks to this evil man.
