False gaurantees and false promiese

I bought a alternator and within three months it failed and I had to pay to have a replacement one installed for $113, I was told the mfg would pay for the install of the replacement one but am now told that they will not pay the $113 for the install fee inspite of their guarantee that it would work for the life of the car.

I had to follow up with the Store manager as he failed to make follow up calls and was given false hope of a happy resolution. Area repair shops have mention to never buy electrical parts from Auton zone, I know now for good reason, they fail and they dont stand behind thier gaurantees
