Here is an email sent to DDM Tuning due to their lack of customer service and defective products:

I am requesting an RMA number for order number 242908-1 and 245998-1. I have had repeated conversations with your tech dept regarding the defective items in my shipments. The original order (242908-1) had a defective bulb, which was replaced, however after the replacement I still had an issue with the HID lights firing, the left side would fire but the right side would not. It required me to turn the power switch on and off a couple of times before it would fire.

After contacting your tech department I was advised my problem was caused by my cars computer and would require an error code eliminator. I purchased that item and upon receipt one of the eliminators had a broke connector. I again sent pictures and an email describing the defective part to get that replaced. After I received the second eliminator, my original issue still persists. I again contacted your tech support and was told by Brian I was given wrong information, the error code eliminator was not my problem and it was a bad ballast.

Brian did offer to replace it however the only way was to send the defective ballast back first, and upon receipt they would send my replacement. I explained that due to the fact I have been trying to get a complete kit since 1/14, the multiple defective items I have received, the incorrect tech information I was given, and that this would require me to tear the car down two additional times, if I first had to return the ballast, and then again when I received the new ballast.

I felt this was not good customer service and asked to speak with a supervisor, Brian placed me on hold and asked Sarah for special consideration which was denied. I also stated I would be more than happy to give him a credit card number as security to keep from double tear down on my vehicle. Brian explained they use to allow that but no longer is a practice, and again was denied from Sarah. I asked to speak with Sarah and I was told she does not take calls from customers.

As I question the quality of these products, and now the lack of customer service that I have experienced, I am returning all purchased products from your company for a refund, and will dispute the charges on my credit card if necessary. There are too many places I can spend my money, and a company manager that does not take calls from their most important asset (their customers), and the lack of consideration and the hoops that the customer is made to jump thru, I cannot recommend your company or products to several of my friends.

I will expect an RMA number sent to my email address within 48 hours. I have also been advised that any email communications would need to be sent thru a special server from your company, as emails sent to swbell.com have been block from your server, or you may contact me at
