I have been a customer with HAFC since 1998 I have been a great customer They will not lower my finance rate

I will never use Household Automotive Finance Corporation again. I will also spread the word on what a cheating, awful company they are to all of the people I know.

I started using them in 1998. At the time I was suckered into the 1st car that was financed through them, I didn't have much choice but to use such a scam of a company because my credit wasn't perfect. Well, if I didn't learn my lesson on the 1st vehicle, I traded for a newer vehicle and got burned once again. I have been paying on this vehicle since November and they finance manager at Gwinnett Ford in Duluth, Georgia advised me to keep this car for the 1st year, clean up some of my credit (which really wasn't that bad) and then I would have no problem refinancing at a much lower rate.

Well, I have good credit now and still have 2 more years to pay on this piece of juck vehicle. I have made several attempts of asking the people at HAFC to lower my finance rate especially since I have been such a great customer with no late pays or problems and they say that they cannot lower any rates because I live in Georgia. I know that is bull!!! I have thought about letting the car go back for voluntary repossession but I know that they will sue me for the deficiency of the vehicle. I am in a no win situation here. I cannot believe there are no laws that protect us hard working americans from being ripped off.

I feel like companies like HAFC have a license to screw us no matter how much we try to be good customers. I don't know what to do except pull my hair out but I hope this gets in the hands of someone who can help.
