Dealer ripoff states truck is new until sold, then it's a presold truck. Lies and no help with items promised but missing

I'm Hoping I can save South Texans a lot of grief. If you go to Red Mccombs Dodge, take your stress pills. I went to see if they had a dakota truck. I had a picture of the truck and a price from another dealer.

They had me test drive a bigger version but could make a deal on it etc. After asking repeatedly is this vehicle new? Yes Jay Carlson stated repeatedly. How Much? I repeatedly asked.

We'll go over the price back at the Dealership. Later at the dealership Jay wanted to know things like how much can you afford to pay monthly, etc. But wouldn't come up with a price.

After angering both the wife and I, He went and give's a no deal price. And we leave. Talking with a General Mgr. We agree on a price.

When I get there 2 hours 1 way, they make us wait another 2 1/2 hours and see the finance person who seems to bypass the general mgr's price jacks the bill by $399. Stating the General Manager doesn't now all the numbers. And doesn't explain on paper what the fee is. The contract has a blank line and $399. When the
truck is supposedly ready, as we drive out my wife looks down and sees gum smashed in the carpet. We had no gum on our shoes and magically there's no owners manual. Jay Carlson had stated repeatedly this new truck has everything a new truck should have.

When we got home we called to ask for the owners manual, and mentioned the gum in the carpet. He would order me these things. Then states this is a presold Truck. That's not what you stated while you were trying to sell it to me? Silence. After a week we called to check the status and was told the owners manual was sitting on Jay's Desk. So we went down to get it.

There was no owners manual, and another salesman states we'll order you one. I explained how far I came but the sales guy could care less, I know this because he also did nothing. Now my temporary tags have expired, as usual Jay Carlson claims he'll mail me some out. But they've done nothing but lie about one thing after another.

I'm stuck now with a truck that's not legal to drive. I have no owners manual. I can't even preset the radio stations. They won't even give me the window sticker so I know what features my truck has. Any help is appreciated. And shop at red mccombs at your own risk.
