Motorcycle Repair ripoff: Fraud charge for work not done, employee was shocked at how this guy was ripping me off, & expressed same & embarrassment

I had a problem with my rear exaust pipe & did not have the right tool to pull a stripped bolt out of cylinder head. Left my bike at this "repair shop" after hours. Called next morning to get quote.

I was told acout 1 to 2 hours about &100.00 to &125.00 Then I recieved a call by John the owner saying the heads had to be pulled to remove the bolt. I was out of work told them to stop work. I would pay for services rendered & pick up the bike. I had to borrow the money to get bike so I called daily to let them know when I could there. They said no problem.

When I went to pick up bike owner was hostile towards my & charged additional $40.00 in "Storage" I did not have the money as I was taken by suprise. Then I was told each day I would be charged more! I was lucky that my friend had some cash so he helped. He is a machanic for a car dealership & advised my this guy was ripping me off and the storage charge was illeagle.

I had no problem paying them for their work. After ripping me off with the storage charge. My friend took the bike to his house & with in 45 minutes had the bolt out & pipes installed! The heads did not have to be pulled at all!

This guy's name is John & he tried to steal about $750.00 to $800.00 in work that did not exist. Then decided to bump the $130.00 bogus labor charge to $170.00 including "storage".

Even his employee was shocked at how this guy was ripping me off, & expressed same & embarrassment. A half moon needs to be painted on John's door, to give true repreasention his work & self worth! Reilly.
