Exhaust Pipes

After I installed the pipes on 2001 FLHT, I found the left pipe blocks the fuse access panel to the point the cover will not come off. I called Vance & Hines and I was advised this by design. I asked what should I do if I'm broke down on the side and need access to the fuses? I was told to remove the exhaust. You got to be kidding me, wait an hour for the pipes to cool and have all the tools needed. The attitude of the representative I spoke to really sucked. I told him that V&H should advised the customers of the poorly designed pipe blocking access to the fuses prior to purchasing the pipes or at the very least in the instructions. I would not recommend this pipe or any V&H products. If knew prior to my purchase I would have never purchased these poorly engineered pipes.
