Bought a car for $1500, five miles down the road the engine blew up

I went to Toth auto group to look at a car they were advertizing on craigs list. You see my seven year relationship had just ended and our car was in her name.

Toth's add said solid car runs great. It did it just would'nt go into gear. So I past. The sales man showed me another car. I test drove it around the nahborhood it ran alright so I bought it. $1500 cash. All the money I had. I got on the freeway and when I got uo to speed, around 60mph it started to lose power then click, clik, boom the engine blew.

Parts flying, a ton of smoke poured out. I got to the side of the road jumped out and put out the fire under the hood.
When I got back to the lot and told them what had happined their response was.

We have no legal obligation to do any thing about it. I said I'm not talkimg about your legal obligation, what about your morale obligation, your buisness ethics not to mention your reputation. Needles to say they have no intention of doing the right thing.

So now I don't have a car I'm out $1500 buck and I still need to find a new place to live.
