Had Subaru EA82 engine overhauled. Would not build oil pressure, returned for warranty work. Got it back and suspected no work done. Local shop tore-down engine and found poor workmanship, work not done, wrong parts, and used parts. This is an "executive summary"- see more details on Ultimate Subaru Message Board. These people lied to me every step of the way. Got my $ back because my local shop was willing to provide affadavit (s) to police and CCR elected to give me $ back rather than go that route.

Saw another consumer complaints for same thing! Find a good local shop and use them! CCR Engines will take your $ and do about half (or less) of what you think you are paying for, but the proof is hidden inside where you'll never see it unless you are forced to tear-down the engine! They gamble it will run through the "warranty" period, but the warranty wasn't worth the paper it was printed on...
