I brought my ford f150 to kinsel for service dept for tire rotation. Its noteworthy to mention that I purchased this truck from kinsels. When I picked the truck up that afternoon the drivers side front wheel was making a terrible howling noise which I quickly recognized as a wheel bearing. I brought it back to them and they drove it and concluded that I was correct, that the noise was a wheel bearing and their response was "oh well" but the truck was not doing this when I brought it in. And the truck had 35000 miles on it. I have been in the mechaiccal field for 40 years as an engineer. And I can say with all certainty that a bearing does not go out overnight. It is a gradual process which becomes louder and louder over time. But this did it in one day. It was fine when I brought it in, and wasted when I picked it up. I bought a new rotor with bearing myself and changed it out. But I noticed that the load nut which is supposed to have 300 lbs torque had only about 80 lbs. And the bearing inside was wasted completely and badly rusted. It was then that it occured to me what kinsels had done. They obviously needed a rotor/bearing assembly on another truck in their shop. So they removed my good rotor and installed it on the other truck and put the bad one on my truck. The loose nut and the sudden occurance of the noise left little doubt to what transpired. Kinsels of course denied this and took no responsibility. This was nothing short of criminal theft and the service dept at kinsels are a bunch of crooks. I'd also paid them for air filter replacment several times and an examination of my air filter revealed they had never. Ever replaced my air filter. Stay asway from kinsel ford and definately never buy a car from kinsels as you will be at the mercy of their lying, cheating service department
