I went to Pars Cars on August 17 and was sold a 2001 Ford Excursion. I told my sale rep I only had $1500 to put down. They said they could work with me. They first tried to put me in a Denali which was in very bad shape. It was beat up, the inside was extremely damaged, it was ant infested and hidden in the back of their lot.

After I refused it they took me to the Excursion and I test drove it. At the time it road very well, the salesman said that it had been serviced and was road ready. They assured me that a tune-up had been done.

Well once we went in to complete the paper work my husband asked about the advertisement of we match your down payment up to $2000. The salesman said "yes they do match the down payment don't worry I'll take care of you."

They do not match your down payment! I put up $1500 they said they would match with $2000. They deducted $2000 off of the price of the car subtracted my down payment and then came up with how much would be need to finance the vehicle.

They submitted my paperwork to United Auto Credit Corporation which told them they wanted $3000 down. They only showed my $1500 but then they gave a loan of $1500 to make the down payment and set up what they call pick up payments.

Two days later the car broke down on us, this was late Friday night in Hampton, Ga. Saturday morning around 9am I called Pars Cars about it they told me that I had to called the service center which was in Jonesboro. When I called the manager told me I had to tow the truck in and gave me a towing number which was someones cell phone and that they couldn't do anything until Monday because they were closed.

Get this the so call warranty that they give you does not cover Anything!!!

They would not give us a loner to get home until then either. Well we called the number and never got an answer. Called the manager back and she even tried calling and didn't get an answer, by then it was about 1pm. Just so happens we were by a Express oil change and I ended paying to have the truck fixed.

UACC called me to welcome to the finance family and asked me about the pick up payment. I told them what had happen and that I did not have the money. I also told them I was going to contact Pars Cars about it because the salesman said that the pickup payments was to be paid to the dealership. My Account manager then said no they would inly send me back over to her so only deal with them (the finance company).

She proceeded to say they would not make any arrangements with me even though I'm all ready making repairs that Pars Cars said was already done. Our last conversation was on Saturday Sept. 17th. She told me they would first shut off the truck and then they will repossess it.

My first car note is not due until October 24th or 26th. They repossessed my car on September 21st.

The lady over my account did not know the car had been repossessed when I called her that morning.

They did not register the tag, so Douglas County gave me a temp tag until they decided to register it. I found this out on Sept 16th when I went to the court house to get my tag. The manager over the recovery department didn't know that.
They claim they document everything but they do not...

From my understanding the finance company can not repossess your vehicle unless you have not paid your monthly car note.

I just completed a chapter 7 and I'm trying to rebuild my credit. I needed reliable transportation for my family only to be ripped off by them for $1500 and now facing a repossession on my credit that I feel is not right. I need help...
