Car x
$700.00 plus for front bearings that went bad within 2 years. Replaced left within 14 mo. Now right is loose

Cars & Transport

Summer 2009 Car X in West Chester, Ohio replaced the Right and Left Wheel Bearings on our 2002 Buick Lasaber. Cost was over $700.00. Appoximately 14 Months later the Left Front wheel bearing became loose and had to be replaced. Car X charged me anothe $350.00 as the ONE YEAR warrenty had expired. I recently had my oil changed and tires rotated at Midas. I was informed by the mechanic that the Front RIGHT wheel bearing was a little loose and should be replaced at a cost of $375.00. I will have Paid over $1,400.00 in a little over TWO YEARS for front wheel bearings. Either CAR X used shoddy bearings or performed shoddy mechanical work. A Buick dealer stated to me that Wheel Bearings should last at least 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions. I am 72 years old and drive very sensibilty. I cannot afford a newer car at this time, so I will have to have the bearing replaced. I will not go to CAR X again...
