Horrible Service

I decided to go to this repair shop due to personal references I recieved on it. I called on a Wednesday, stated I needed to get my air conditioner fixed in my truck, I spoke with the owner who asked if I could drop it off on Monday morning. That day was great so I agreed.

Monday morning came, I took the morning off of work to bring it in, when I got there he said he probably couldn't get to it as he was really busy. I reminded him of our converstation, which he denied happening, he went into his office and found the notes where he stated to have us drop it off on Monday. He reluctantly took it in and stated he was really tired of fixing air conditioners. I thought to myself, he should be happy he has so much business, but none the less.

Monday afternoon came (4:30pm) still no word, so I called. I was told my the incompetent witch with and attitude (receptionist I assume) that he didn't have time to work on it today and asked if he could keep it overnight. I asked would it be worked on first thing as I needed it back that afternoon. I was given a verbal guarantee it would be done, so I agreed.

Tuesday morning came (day off) ran some errands in the bay area, when my other car happened to break down, I was towed home (45 miles), got home around 3pm and called Fagundes again. The lady stated he still didn't have time to look at it, I expressed my frustration as I was told different and it has now been 2 days and nothing has been done. I explained my situation to her stating that I needed my truck back and fixed, especially since my other one just broke down. She said "It's not my problem that your other car broke down, if you want to come and get your car from us we don't care." I understood it wasn't her problem, but some empathy would of been nice. I told her I thought her customer service skills needed work, she stated that her skills were just fine.

I wound up going back to get my truck, when I got there, it was hooked up to all their equipement trying to find the leak. The mechanic asked if I had a minute for him to finish. I was so livid that now that I took time out of my day to go and get it and now they want to work on it... Grrrr. He finished and said I had a leak and would call me the next day with an estimate... Well that next day has come and gone with no call. It has been 2 weeks now and nothing.

Bottom line, I am done with them. If you have time to wait a week, month, year or whatever for the repairs or if you like to be treated like garbage then Fagundes 10th street garage is the way to go.
